Keep breastfeeding on track

Your baby is born knowing how to breastfeed. Minbie is designed to work with it.

Our patented teat supports a deep, natural latch and encourages the same feeding motion used on the breast. This helps your baby switch between breast and bottle without confusion, so you can introduce a bottle from day one without disrupting breastfeeding.

Safer PPSU bottles

Our premium PPSU bottles are designed for safety, durability and everyday peace of mind.

They withstand high temperatures up to 180°C without warping or releasing harmful substances, and are completely BPA and toxin free. With the clarity of glass but without the risk of breakage, they’re lightweight, strong, and built to last.

Embossed measurements won’t fade over time, so you can rely on accuracy for every feed.

Designed for newborns from day one

This kit is carefully designed for your baby’s earliest feeds.

As your baby grows, Minbie’s range of flow rates allows you to progress at the right pace, without needing to change feeding technique.

Shipping & returns

Same-day dispatch from our Melbourne warehouse on orders placed before 1pm, Monday to Friday. Shipping cost and timing are calculated at checkout once you enter your postcode, and shipping is free Australia-wide on orders over $60.

The details that make the difference

Designed to work with breastfeeding

Share the feeds

Partners, grandparents and nursery can feed your baby while you rest, work or pump.

Patented, award-winning design

Created by Minbie founder Julia, a mum and award-winning designer, and protected by patents.

Paced flows

From extra slow to advanced, with paced options for babies who are mostly breastfed.

The first bottle matters

Breast to bottle and back

Most bottle teats rely on compression, teaching babies to squeeze milk instead of drawing it naturally as they do at the breast. Minbie is different. Our patented teat supports your baby’s natural suckling motion, helping keeps breastfeeding on track while giving you the confidence to bottle-feed.

Not all teats are equal

Why breastfed babies say yes to Minbie

Most bottle teats let milk flow with little effort. Minbie’s patented teat keeps your baby using the same active latch and suckling motion they use at the breast.

A conventional bottle teat

Conventional teat

  • A different mouth shape from the breast, which can confuse a breastfed baby
  • Milk drips with little effort, so babies learn to compress instead of suckle
  • Flow can be fast and uneven, making feeds feel rushed

Trusted By Experts

Used with their own babies

Used and recommended by doctors, midwives and lactation experts. Here’s a GP, two midwives, a dentist and an oral surgeon on Minbie, in their own words as parents.

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
“Having something that could settle my son without always needing to feed made a huge difference. It gave me another way to comfort him, while still supporting a more natural suckling pattern rather than passive feeding.”

General Practitioner
“The unique teat design better mimics natural breastfeeding mechanics, which is why it was the first one my baby accepted. For parents wanting to combine breast and bottle feeding, Minbie is an excellent choice.”

“The game-changing Minbie feeding system needs to be shared with the world. A very happy mother.”

Oral Health Professional
“After trying so many bottles my baby wouldn’t take, this was the first one he accepted straight away. It’s been such a relief having something that supports his feeding while still feeling natural.”

Midwife
“After exclusively breastfeeding, my baby refused every bottle we tried and would become really distressed. As a midwife, I understand the sucking reflex and latch, so I was drawn to how closely this teat mimics breastfeeding. Without hesitation, she took to it straight away. It eased so much anxiety and finally gave me a bit of freedom.”

Safer PPSU Bottles

Why PPSU Over PP?

Standard PP bottles are lightweight but can degrade with heat and repeated sterilisation. PPSU is a premium-grade material designed for durability, stability and safety, giving you long-term confidence with every feed.

Durability

Unlike typical PP bottles that can warp or weaken over time, PPSU is built to last.

It has exceptional impact resistance, so it won’t crack, cloud or degrade with daily use, repeated sterilising or dishwasher cycles.

Clarity

All the clarity of glass, without the risk.

PPSU maintains its natural transparency and smooth finish over time, unlike PP which can become cloudy and worn with regular use.

Designed around breastfeeding

Breast to bottle. And back again.

A shared feed shouldn’t mean leaving breastfeeding behind.

Minbie’s patented soft-silicone teat is shaped around your baby’s natural breastfeeding motion. Latching surfaces and tip contours keep your baby actively latching and suckling, so they can go from breast to bottle and back without missing a beat.

  • Made for active sucklingYour baby works for milk just like at the breast, so switching back is easy.
  • A flow for their paceFrom extra slow to advanced, with paced options for mostly breastfed babies.
  • Vented by designThe built-in vent lets air back into the bottle, so milk flows smoothly all feed long.

Inside our patented teat

Shaped for the way your baby feeds.

Four patented features work together so a bottle feed feels like a breastfeed.

Latching surfaces
Guide a wide, deep latch, just like at the breast.
Streamlined bulge
Supports the wave-like tongue movement of natural breastfeeding.
Tip contours
Release milk only when your baby actively suckles.
Flat profile
Sits comfortably in your baby’s mouth.

Integrated air vent

Milk out. Air back in.

As your baby feeds, air flows back into the bottle, so the teat stays full and milk keeps flowing smoothly. The result: steady, unhurried feeds.

Breast to bottle and back

The same motion as the breast, not just the same look

Conventional teats drip milk with little effort, so babies can learn a lazier technique and start to prefer the bottle. Minbie keeps your baby actively suckling, so moving between breast and bottle stays easy and breastfeeding stays on track.

Such a beautiful, thoughtfully designed baby bottle!

We recently introduced the Minbie bottle to Rosie, and I’ve been really impressed with the thought and detail that has gone into its design.

One of the things that initially caught my attention was the unique teat design. Minbie has designed its teat to encourage a natural feeding technique, which I think is such an interesting approach, especially for families who are combining breastfeeding and bottle feeding.

I also love the quality and feel of the bottle. It has a beautiful, practical design, and you can tell that a lot of consideration has gone into making feeding as comfortable and straightforward as possible for both babies and parents.

Having a newborn while juggling three other children means convenience and practicality are incredibly important to me. I appreciate baby products that are thoughtfully made and fit easily into our everyday routine.

What I particularly love about Minbie is that the brand focuses on supporting babies’ natural feeding movements rather than simply creating another standard baby bottle.

    Best alternative to breast!

The introduction of a bottle as a top up to breast feeding has been so smooth thanks to the Minbie I cannot fault it! Another bottle we were using in hospital was giving him so much gas and we couldn’t work out why until we switched to these and saw the difference!

    Breastfeeding baby loved these!

I’ve been exclusively breastfeeding and wanted a bottle I could use with my son that wouldn’t compromise our breastfeeding.

These bottles have been great!! He took these bottles and has continued breastfeeding with no issues.

Good questions

Questions before you begin

Will my breastfed baby take it?

Minbie is designed for breastfed babies. Our patented teat uses the same active latch and suckling motion as the breast, which is why so many parents tell us their baby took a Minbie after refusing other bottles.

For the first few bottles:

  • Offer it when your baby is calm and not too hungry, sitting fairly upright.
  • Hold the bottle level at first, with the air vent at the top.
  • Touch the teat to their top lip and wait for a wide mouth, just like at the breast.
  • If they’re not keen, stop and try later. It often helps if someone other than the breastfeeding parent offers it.
Which teat flow should I choose?

Start with the flow for your baby’s age, then adjust to how they feed:

  • 0+ Extra slow: newborns
  • 1+ Slow: when extra slow becomes too slow, often 1–3 months
  • 3P Paced: from around 2–3 months, mostly breastfed babies
  • 3+ Medium: from 3 months
  • 6P Paced: from 6 months, mostly breastfed babies
  • 6+ Fast: from 6 months
  • 9+ Advanced: from 9 months

If milk seems to come too quickly, try a slower flow. If they get frustrated or feeds take a very long time, try the next one up. Every Minbie teat fits every Minbie bottle.

How does the air vent work?

The built-in vent lets air flow back into the bottle as your baby drinks, so milk keeps flowing smoothly and the teat doesn’t collapse. Paced flows let your baby set a steady, comfortable rhythm, just like at the breast.

What are the bottles made of, and how do I sterilise them?

The bottles are PPSU, a tough, lightweight, heat-resistant material that’s free from BPA and BPS, with embossed measurements that won’t rub off. Teats are soft silicone.

Sterilise them however you like: a steam steriliser, boiling for 5 minutes, cold-water sterilising or microwave steam bags.

Can I store breast milk in them?

Yes. Use the sealing disc in place of the teat for storage, then swap the teat back on when you’re ready to feed. Follow official Australian guidance on how long expressed milk can be kept in the fridge or freezer.

What if I need help?

Our team is happy to help you choose a flow. Email us your baby’s age and what you’ve tried, and we’ll suggest a flow and approach. Unused items in their sealed packaging can be returned.
