Pumping Tech Has Come A Long Way

With my first baby, I used a Spectra pump and thought it was the best option available at the time. This time around, I've been amazed by how much pumping technology has advanced. The Minbie hospital-grade pump gives me the strong suction I need to express efficiently, but in a pump that's noticeably lighter, more compact, and far more comfortable to use.

The dual motors have been a standout feature for me. Being able to adjust each side independently means I can find the perfect setting for comfort and output, and the soft silicone shields feel much gentler than my old pump. I can express plenty of milk without feeling sore afterwards, which has made a huge difference to my pumping experience.

I've also loved the Minbie bottles. My baby switches easily between breastfeeding and bottle feeding, and I feel confident knowing the teat is designed to encourage a natural latch rather than a lazy feeding technique. It has helped us continue our breastfeeding relationship while still giving me the option to express and store milk when needed.

Overall, this bundle has exceeded my expectations. The combination of powerful hospital-grade performance, lightweight design, and thoughtful comfort features makes it feel like a significant upgrade from the pumps I used with my first baby. I only wish I'd had it the first time around.

More milk at home, flexibility when I’m out

As a new mum, I quickly realised my pumping needs were very different at home compared to when I was out. Having both the hospital-grade pump and two wearable pumps has helped me pump more consistently and noticeably increase my milk output.

At home, the hospital-grade pump lets me express a lot more milk in a shorter amount of time, which has been especially helpful for building a freezer stash. The suction is strong but still comfortable, so I feel emptied properly after each session. When I’m on the go, the wearables make it easy to keep up with my pumping schedule. I can pump hands-free while getting things done or leaving the house, instead of skipping sessions and watching my supply dip.

Having both options means I don’t have to compromise. I use the hospital-grade pump for maximum output at home and the wearables to stay on track throughout the day, which has made a real difference to my supply and my confidence as a pumping mum.

    Good value for money

This bundle is a good value for money although I have noticed some problems with the pumps. The wearable pumps have horrid suction to the point where you can’t feel your nipples even being suctioned even on the highest level. With the wearables it takes me 20+ minutes to get 30mls when I usually get 250mls in 10 minutes which is frustrating. If you have a flang size smaller than 15mm I would not recommend this product as the produce no comparable flanges. The hospital grade pump is amazing and the lowest level suction (#1) is more powerful the highest setting on the wearables (#9). With the hospital grade I can get up to 360mls in under 15 minutes which is amazing. You have to get a specific pumping bra to go with this pump to make it portable though which is tricky as if you don’t have this it is hard to feed you baby or really do anything as you have to hold them in place. The replacement parts are extremely expensive ($13 for one valve) which is Think is horrid as they would only get them for maybe $2 a piece. I also wish that there was a double case for the wearable pumps as taking both cases leaves no room in my diaper bag for anything else. I also don’t like that the wearables are generally sold seperatly which isn’t good as who would only buy one pump? Overall just get the hospital grade pump not the wearables as they don’t work that well and you are better off buying the mom cozy’s.

    Hospital Grade Pump

I exclusively pump for my little one, and this pump has been brilliant! I was previously using wearable pumps (different brand), but this pump is far more efficient, and comfortable. I love it! :)
